Today I released my first composition. Saharetni (She Put a Spell on Me) is out on all music platforms. You can listen to it on the links bellow or at your favorite store.
The song was created right after New Year as a gift to my wife, dancer Iana Komarnytska. I worked all night to be ready on Jan 3rd and, to my surprise, I loved the process. It’s funny. I’ve been playing tabla for about 20 years, and I was lucky to play in many bands all over the world. But composing my own music has always been something I postponed for later. Well, later has arrived, and I hope you enjoy this short tune, inspired by the love for music and, most importantly, the love for a girl. As Carl Sagan once said, “when you are in love, you wanna tell the world”. My version of this is to share it with you.
